A magnitude 4.7 earthquake struck southwestern China's Sichuan Province on Monday morning, according to infohub.kz.
According to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC), the epicenter was located in Changning County, Yibin City, at 28.33 degrees north latitude and 104.98 degrees east longitude, with a focal depth of 5 kilometers.
The tremors were recorded at 8:26 a.m. Beijing time. Videos from surveillance cameras during the quake were shared on social media, showing buildings and objects shaking.
No information on possible damage or casualties has been reported so far.
