Kazakhstan's airline FlyArystan has issued an important warning to passengers traveling to and from China about upcoming changes in border crossing rules, reports infohub.kz.
Starting September 15, 2026, updated entry and exit rules will take effect in China. As a result, document checks during immigration control may take longer than usual.
The airline's press service recommended that passengers heading to China or departing from the country check in advance the availability and validity of all necessary travel documents, including passports, and familiarize themselves with the current entry and exit requirements for China. It was particularly emphasized that passengers should arrive at the airport no less than three hours before departure, allowing extra time for passport and immigration control.
FlyArystan also reminded that the visa-free regime between Kazakhstan and China remains in effect. Citizens of Kazakhstan can stay in China without a visa for up to 30 calendar days per trip.
