Russian composer Igor Krutoy and Kazakh performer Alex Lim have released a joint track, a cover of "Lyubovnitsa" ("The Mistress"), a song previously performed by Irina Allegrova. The premiere drew mixed reactions on social media: some listeners welcomed the new version enthusiastically, while others remained loyal to the original, infohub.kz reports.

Maestro Krutoy and the Kazakh singer announced the release on Instagram. "Premiere. Alex Lim, Igor Krutoy — 'Lyubovnitsa.' Listen on all music platforms," the post read.

Fans of the artists greeted the news with delight. "I still haven't gotten over your 'Vokzal.' Your collaboration with Igor Krutoy is wonderful," one wrote in the comments, while others added: "Congratulations on the premiere! Keep it up," "I used to think only AI could sing like that. An incredible timbre," and "You are as delightful as ever, your voice is mesmerizing!"

Not everyone, however, was thrilled with the new release. "No one has sung or ever will sing this song better than Allegrova, even though I really like Lim's timbre and voice," one commenter said. Others agreed: "He sings beautifully, but Allegrova is in my head and that's that," and "Irina Allegrova and only her, with all due respect to the vocals here."
