The premium Infiniti QX60 crossover is being prepared for sale in Kazakhstan: the model has received a vehicle type approval listing a gasoline V6 engine, all-wheel drive and two cabin layouts, the website infohub.kz reports.

As Kursiv Auto found out, the type approval for the Infiniti QX60 was registered on October 2, 2026, and is valid until October 1, 2029. The applicant was Exclusive Auto Kazakhstan, which represents the brand in Kazakhstan and several other countries in the region.

The official Infiniti dealer's website currently lists the QX50, QX55 and QX80. The QX60 will thus become the fourth model in the local lineup. A distributor representative said earlier that the updated Infiniti QX60 was expected to be brought to Kazakhstan before the end of 2026.

According to the type approval, the Infiniti QX60 certified for Kazakhstan has a 3.5-liter naturally aspirated VQ35 engine designed for AI-95 gasoline and higher. The six-cylinder unit produces 208 kW (283 hp) at 6,400 rpm and 350 N·m at 4,800 rpm.

The vehicle has all-wheel drive, with the engine mounted transversely at the front. The distributor had previously specified a nine-speed automatic transmission for the model.

The QX60 in the Kazakh type approval comes with two cabin layouts. The first has six seats in a 2+2+2 configuration, the second seven in a 2+3+2 layout.

The vehicle measures 5,041×1,981×1,780 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,900 mm. Curb weight is listed in the range of 2,145–2,160 kg. The crossover will also be able to tow a trailer weighing up to 1,500 kg.

Official prices and the start date of sales are not yet known.

Kursiv Auto reported earlier that Infiniti sales in Kazakhstan grew amid a decline in the premium segment.
