Kazakh performer Kairat Tuntekov has made a candid confession, saying on social media that he was ready to leave the stage and give up his creative work, infohub.kz reports.
The artist admitted he wanted to part ways with the stage and came to realize that a person's main struggle in life is with themselves.
"I had to go through a lot — there were moments of joy and hard times too. Sometimes I wanted to give it all up and retreat into silence. But I could never fully abandon my creative work, because song is an integral part of my life. My place is on the stage. And your support always gives me strength," he said.
Fans of the performer's work rallied behind the artist, joined by celebrity colleagues including Alua Konarova, Kental, Argonya, Omirkul Ainiyazov and other stars.
"Of course, Kairat, who else but you should be on the stage," "You weren't named Kairat for nothing — you have the strength to overcome anything," "Kairat, your voice is unique and inimitable; you listen to it and enjoy it, and we always wait and will keep waiting," commentators wrote.
