The long-awaited concert of American rapper Kanye West at the Central Stadium in Almaty has come to an end, with fans managing to attend only on the second attempt. The show lasted about two hours, reports infohub.kz.
The performance started exactly on schedule, without the traditional warm-up act that usually precedes concerts of other stars. This was facilitated by an unusual stage in the form of a sphere, set up right on the stadium field.
Kanye appeared at the top of the structure mimicking the globe and immediately performed fans' favorite hits, including the track "Everybody," originally performed by the Backstreet Boys.
It is worth noting that despite yesterday's mishap, today's concert went almost without complaints. West's professional show with special effects, fireworks, and laser beams, as well as the audience's involvement—who danced and sang along to all the artist's tracks—made the performance unforgettable.
Spectators could also watch the performer on screens installed at the stadium, but of course, all attention was drawn to the sphere. At times, it even served as a huge display.
The concert ended with fireworks to the song "True Love" featuring XXXTentacion.
It should be noted that residents and guests of Almaty were able to purchase tickets through the Freedom Afisha (Ticketon) service.
