The Open Republican Youth Table Tennis Tournament 'Saryarka-2026' concluded in Karaganda, bringing together promising athletes from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia. Over several days, participants showcased a high level of skill, while spectators witnessed intense and thrilling matches, reports infohub.kz.

Guests of the competition expressed special gratitude to the organizers. Georgiy Tsoi, a coach from the Tashkent region, noted that his team has been happily coming to Karaganda for various tournaments and club championships for many years. 'Saryarka-2026 was no exception. Everything was at a high level, there were many interesting matches. Thank you to the tournament organizers,' emphasized Georgiy Tsoi.

Tatiana Ilyina, a coach from St. Petersburg visiting Karaganda for the first time, also shared her impressions. 'We really liked the Saryarka Table Tennis Center. The tournament is wonderful: we met teams from Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan. Each opponent has their own playing style, so the matches were very exciting,' she noted.

Athlete Atay Kasymov from Bishkek also gave high praise to the competition. 'Very strong lineup of participants, excellent organization, modern table tennis center. We will definitely come to you next year,' he said.

The final matches were also intense. Among boys born in 2013 and younger, Khuseyn Iskandarov (Uzbekistan) emerged victorious, defeating fellow countryman Amir Shiriev in a tense five-set match — 3:2. Bronze medals were won by Oleg Yakovlev from Karaganda and Dulat Yeralkhan from Shymkent.

In the girls' category of the same age, Olesya Ilyina from St. Petersburg won gold, confidently beating Zhaniya Bekmukhambetova from Kostanay — 3:0. Third place went to Adelya Alzhanova (Kyzylorda) and Nazerke Bolatbek (Turkestan).

In the boys' category born 2010–2012, Alexey Markin from Almaty celebrated victory, defeating Asylkhan Magzumbekov from Karaganda in a dramatic final — 3:2. Bronze medals were awarded to Nurdaulet Azamatuly (Ust-Kamenogorsk) and Yerdaulet Bekkuly (Turkestan).

Among girls born 2010–2012, Adelina Khasanova (Tashkent region) came out as the strongest, beating Aruzhan Kamalova — 3:0. Third place was shared by Maria Lukyanova (Karaganda) and Maftuna Khaniyazova (Turkestan).

In the older age group among boys (born 2007–2009), a confident victory was achieved by Alan Kurmangaliyev from Karaganda, defeating Kasym Nurislam from Shymkent with a score of 3:0. Bronze medalists were Dierbek Dilshodov and Khurshid Akhmedov (both from Tashkent region).

Among girls born 2007–2009, the champion was Asel Yerbayeva (Tashkent region), who defeated Alina Zhaksylykova from Karaganda — 3:1. Bronze medals went to Darya Fu (Karaganda) and Nursaya Nurman (Ust-Kamenogorsk).
