Kazakhstan has rolled out a new car leasing program for individuals, a joint project by Nomad Leasing Solutions and the Allur automotive group. Citizens now have another way to acquire a vehicle — through leasing, without paying the full price upfront, according to infohub.kz.
For a family, a car means daily trips to work and school, business meetings, visits to relatives or trips out of town. Leasing lets people start using a car without paying its full cost at once, spreading the expense over several years.
Applications on the automaker's side are handled by Allur's financial platform, Allur Finance. The program offers terms starting at 37 months, with financing from 1 million tenge. The customer picks a car, makes a down payment of at least 20% and then pays monthly. Until the vehicle is bought out, it remains the property of the leasing company.
Kazakhstan had earlier launched a pilot car leasing project for private customers. The first contract was signed in December 2025. The new instrument was tested to gauge demand and fine-tune the application process.
In June 2026, amendments to the Law on Financial Leasing were adopted, setting out the terms for leasing to individuals and the requirements for leasing companies. The new program is based on those rules.
"Car leasing for individuals is creating a new segment of vehicle financing in Kazakhstan. The legislative changes set out the procedure for providing leasing to individuals. Together with Allur Finance, we are launching the program in line with the established requirements and the current leasing model," said Sayat Urpezhanov, director of the leasing company Nomad Leasing Solutions.
Customers can opt for a residual payment. Under this scheme, part of the car's price — from 20% — is deferred to the end of the contract, which lowers the monthly payment. When the contract ends, the customer chooses one of three options: pay the residual amount and buy the car, return it to the leasing company, or sign a new contract for another vehicle. The program's terms also allow the residual payment to be carried over into a new contract.
Returns and vehicle swaps are available for domestically produced cars. This means that roughly every three years a customer can keep the car or choose another model — for example, if the family needs a roomier vehicle or work needs have changed.
Nomad Leasing Solutions and Allur Finance also offer car leasing to individual entrepreneurs.
Applications can be submitted through Allur Finance at a participating dealership or on the Nomad Leasing Solutions website. The list of available cars and the final terms are determined after the application is reviewed.
