More than 127,000 applicants will learn their results on August 7, reports infohub.kz.
The results of the competition for state educational grants for the 2026–2027 academic year will be published on August 7 at 3:00 PM. This was announced by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek.
According to the minister, the Republican Commission has already completed the distribution of state educational grants. Its members included representatives of state bodies, public organizations, education sector trade unions, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken", and the Association of Universities.
"This year, more than 127,000 applications were submitted for the competition. The most popular areas among applicants were 'Pedagogical Sciences', 'Engineering, Processing and Construction Industries', and 'Information and Communication Technologies'," said Sayasat Nurbek.
The minister also noted that the highest competition this year is expected for educational programs training future translators, diplomats, lawyers, psychologists, and teachers.
The lists of state educational grant recipients will appear on August 7 at 3:00 PM on the official information resources of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, as well as on the head of the department's social media pages.
The ministry reminded that the acceptance of documents for higher education institutions will last until August 25, 2026.
"Dear applicants! May your path to adulthood be filled with bright achievements, new opportunities, and great successes. I sincerely wish that your efforts are rewarded and that each of you becomes a student at the university of your dreams," the minister addressed future students.
