The International Chemistry Olympiad is one of the seven most prestigious subject olympiads for school students worldwide. Kazakhstan has been participating since 1998 and consistently ranks among the top-performing countries. Earlier, it was reported that a student from Shymkent received invitations from 74 universities worldwide.
