Kazakh businessman Kenes Rakishev continues to expand his presence in the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) by registering a new entity, Fincraft Minerals Ltd. This is not the first such project for the entrepreneur: he has been actively creating companies in the AIFC jurisdiction to manage mining and oil and gas assets, according to the website infohub.kz, citing the Telegram channel Finmentor.kz.

The authorized capital of Fincraft Minerals is 1 million tenge, with 1,000 shares issued at 1,000 tenge each. According to the AFSA registry, the company will engage in holding company activities, and Rakishev holds all key positions in it.

It is worth noting that the entrepreneur ranks 27th in the list of the 75 richest businessmen in Kazakhstan according to Forbes as of May 2026, with a fortune of $402 million. Rakishev owns the Fincraft Group holding, through which he participates in oil-producing companies Equus Petroleum and Beineu Petroleum, controls Fincraft Resources (which includes the Yertis ferro-nickel plant), and is the majority shareholder of BTA Bank.

It is noted that over the past two years, the businessman has created a whole network of specialized structures in the AIFC. In the field of solid mineral extraction, he registered in January 2026, through Fincraft Resources, the company Arkhat Minerals Limited to attract capital and implement projects.

Earlier, in September 2025, Rakishev registered Treasure Limited, which received 90% in Zhetysu Gold Limited (the remaining 10% belongs to Tau-Ken Samruk) for the extraction and processing of precious metals. Later, Atlant Resources Ltd, owned by companies from the UAE, became a co-founder of Treasure Limited.

The entrepreneur is also actively developing the oil and gas sector. In November 2025, Fincraft Group created Fincraft Energy Holding Limited in the AIFC. Later, this company registered a bond program for 5 billion yuan on the AIX exchange, directing the raised funds to purchase oil and gas companies, such as FG Limited and Beineu Petroleum Limited.

In August 2026, it also became known that Nostrum Oil & Gas intends to sell its Kazakh assets for $304.5 million to Altaris Holding Ltd, which is jointly owned by Fincraft Energy Holding Limited and Alturion Holding Limited.

In addition, the businessman is launching investment structures in the AIFC jurisdiction. In June 2026, Rakishev registered Red Tulip Capital Ltd, in June 2024 – the venture fund BYB Capital Fund I LP, and in January 2024 – the holding Fatum Limited.

In parallel, the businessman is restructuring his assets outside the financial center. In 2025, Fincraft sold its 50% stake in ARK Petroleum. At the end of the same 2025, Rakishev left the shareholders of the coal mining company Shubarkol Premium, where he controlled 50% together with businessman Shukhrat Ibragimov, representing his family in the ERG group.

Earlier, Kursiv reported that Fincraft, the holding of millionaire Rakishev, received a loss of 9 billion tenge after profit.
