The Economic Court of Kostanay Region has reviewed a lawsuit filed by the mayor of the regional center against an entrepreneur operating the Kostanay–Rudny route, reports infohub.kz.
According to the press service of the Kostanay Regional Court, the specialized inter-district economic court of Kostanay Region considered a civil case on the claim of the mayor of Kostanay against individual entrepreneur B. for termination of the contract for organizing regular automobile transportation of passengers and luggage.
During the court proceedings, the parties settled the dispute through mediation. Under the terms of the agreement, individual entrepreneur B. will continue servicing regular suburban route No. 120 Kostanay–Rudny until December 31, 2026, inclusive, the court said.
From January 1, 2027, the contract will be terminated by mutual consent of the parties. The defendant also undertook not to challenge the termination of the contract in court and, after its expiration, not to make any property or financial claims against the plaintiff. The plaintiff withdrew the claim for termination of the contract, the court clarified.
The court approved the agreement, and the proceedings were discontinued. Route No. 120 Kostanay–Rudny will continue operating until the end of 2026. The court ruling has not entered into legal force.
