TV personality Kourtney Kardashian has denied tabloid reports that she and Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker have split and are living apart, infohub.kz reports.
On a new episode of the reality show The Kardashians, the 47-year-old star discussed the wave of inaccurate media reports with close friend Simon Huck. Kourtney recalled how her personal publicist texted her that morning asking whether it was true that the couple had separated and were preparing for a divorce.
According to Kardashian, rather than trying to stop the story, she advised her manager to let the magazine publish the false item and see what came of it. The TV star stressed that the authors of the gossip are fully aware the information is untrue.
Kourtney named fabricated videos on the social network TikTok as the source of the rumors about marital trouble. In her conversation with Huck, she also expressed bewilderment at the many conspiracy theories and AI-generated videos about their family that some internet users still believe.
Kourtney Kardashian and musician Travis Barker married in May 2022 after getting engaged in October 2021. In November 2023, the couple welcomed a son, Rocky. The celebrities also have children from previous relationships.
