In Kyzylorda, 22-year-old blogger Shugyla Sabit, known on TikTok as SHUGYLA, was arrested after posting about a conflict with police. She was found guilty of disturbing the peace, disobeying lawful police orders, petty hooliganism, and spreading false information, according to infohub.kz.

In addition to the arrest, the young woman was fined and given an official warning. She subsequently deleted the relevant posts from social media.

Police reminded that the blogger had previously spread information that she was held accountable "for laughing," which they called false, adding that her posts also showed disrespect toward law enforcement.

Earlier, Kursiv reported that SHUGYLA complained on TikTok about police actions. According to police, the incident occurred around 1 a.m. when officers noticed a car with open windows playing loud music, and the woman inside was shouting and disturbing the peace.

Police said they checked the driver's documents, explained the reason for the stop, and gave a verbal warning without issuing a fine. The conversation was recorded on officers' dashcams, and no violations were found on their part. The Ministry of Internal Affairs also said that the girl's actions regarding possible disrespect toward officials and spreading false information would be legally assessed.

Police warned that provocative behavior, disrespect toward officers, and spreading false information could lead to liability.
