Soviet and Russian singer Larisa Dolina has marked her 71st birthday with a candid Instagram post in which she responded to haters asking when she plans to leave the stage, infohub.kz reports.
The artist posted a photo to her feed and spoke honestly about herself and her feelings. "Today I celebrate my 71st birthday. This is how I look today. The years have flown by so quickly... But so many good things have happened in my life that I managed to survive all the bad and frightening things, cope, turn the page and enter my new year of life with the feeling that I need to do something else, something beautiful and memorable. I don't know how much longer I'm meant to be on stage — it's all decided in heaven... But however much the Lord gives, I will accept it and keep living," she wrote.
The singer admitted she is happy because she has not lost her faith in people. "I am a rich person, but not materially — scammers did their best to leave me with nothing. I am rich in friends and loved ones, in my creativity and faith in people, no matter what. I have learned a lot and continue to learn. I am happy to see my successors growing, the new generation of future stars, and that I am part of it (this is my answer to those who endlessly long for me to leave). I have a very rich creative life and I am still in demand (much to the dismay of those who write that I am an old woman and don't belong on stage)," NUR.KZ quotes her as saying.
She also said she tries to enjoy every minute she lives because she has always been and remains an optimist. "What do I want to wish myself? A continuation of my professional path, health and strength, and your support, my dear subscribers," Dolina concluded.
Fans congratulated the singer on her birthday and left many warm wishes. Recall that Larisa Dolina won more than 144 million rubles from the scammers who defrauded her.
