In Astana, police have solved a burglary at a dental clinic, with damages amounting to about 2 million tenge, reports infohub.kz.
According to police, the suspect took advantage of the clinic being closed, picked the lock, and entered. Before that, he put a black stocking over his head to conceal his appearance.
Laptops, gadgets, and a safe were stolen from the clinic.
Despite the disguise, the man was captured by street cameras before he covered his face. After reviewing the footage, police identified him as a 34-year-old resident of Astana.
A criminal case has been opened on the theft.
Police reminded business owners to use reliable locks, alarms, and video surveillance systems, and to keep valuables in secure places.
