German-Turkish actress Meryem Uzerli, known for her role as Hürrem in the series "Magnificent Century," has posted photos from Baku, where she presented the new film "İmroz'da Bahar" — "Spring on Imroz" — infohub.kz reports.

The actress said she was received with great warmth in Azerbaijan. "Baku, I love you! You welcomed us with incredible warmth, love and open hearts. It was an unforgettable experience! It was a true honor for me to watch our film together with you and share these special moments," she said.

Uzerli added that seeing the audience's emotions and talking with them meant a great deal to her. "A film is not just a story we tell on screen. It is also the people with whom we share that story, the moments we live through together, and the memories we create," she concluded.

Viewers were especially moved by the fact that the new film reunites two of the brightest stars of "Magnificent Century" after years apart — Halit Ergenç and Meryem Uzerli, who played Sultan Suleiman and his beloved wife Hürrem in the historical drama.

The actors also attended the premiere of "Spring on Imroz" together in Egypt. Uzerli later appeared in a "bride's dress" at a film festival in Turkey.
