Kazakhstan's Minister of National Economy Serik Zhumangarin said at a government briefing that revisions to the Tax Code are not planned in the near future, as the document has only been in effect for nine months, infohub.kz reports.

The head of the Ministry of National Economy noted that the issue of the ban on deductions, which businesses call one of the most painful, is no longer as acute.

"We don't plan to change anything, because the Tax Code has just started working, nine months have passed. But you must admit, it would have been the height of recklessness to amend the main articles before it even started working. So in this case, implementation is needed. I think the Tax Code should work for at least about a year and a half for us to understand what we're even talking about," he said.

According to Zhumangarin, a structure of tax regimes has now been established.

"Those engaged in B2B business work under the general regime, pay VAT and all taxes. And for those who work B2C, that is, with consumers, all possible types of special tax regimes have been created," the head of the Ministry of National Economy believes.
