The iconic British rock band Oasis has announced a major 2027 tour: the musicians will play 38 concerts, but not a single CIS country, including Kazakhstan, made the schedule, reports infohub.kz.
The tour kicks off in May with five concerts in Glasgow. Oasis will then head to Manchester, where they will play 11 shows at Etihad Stadium. The band will subsequently perform in Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, Boston and Las Vegas.
The tour will wrap up with four concerts in the British town of Knebworth in September. That is where Oasis performed twice in 1996, drawing a combined total of around 250,000 spectators.
In all, the schedule includes 38 concerts. To avoid the ticket frenzy that followed the band's return to the stage, fans were offered the chance to register in advance for access to the sale. Standard tickets will cost from $96 to $360 (from 43,000 to 161,000 tenge).
Oasis broke up in 2009 amid strained relations between brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher. In 2024 the musicians announced a reunion, and in 2025 they returned to the stage after a 15-year hiatus.
The new tour has so far left Oasis fans in Kazakhstan without a concert. Neither Kazakhstan nor any other CIS countries are on the schedule, though the band's fans in Almaty would surely not pass up the chance to see the Gallagher brothers, for example, at the Central Stadium.
