Kazakh actor Olzhas Abai appeared as a guest on the TALK LIKE podcast, where he spoke about his career and personal life. The interview was released on journalist Aman Tasygan's YouTube channel, infohub.kz reports.
Abai, who recently married actress Dariga Badykova, answered the journalist's questions candidly. The actor said he was looking for more than beauty in Dariga — he admires her as a person of integrity.
"If I chose her, then I see true beauty in her; if I saw her courage, then I also see tenderness in her heart," he said.
Abai added that Dariga has many qualities he admires.
"She has a subtle intuition. She is a person of integrity. Next to her it is impossible to be weak or foolish — you simply have no right to be. That is exactly what I needed. Next to her you have no right to lose heart; you automatically become strong. You speak with her thoughtfully. She doesn't even give you advice, yet you become smarter yourself... It's impossible to argue with her, because she doesn't argue with you... She has all the qualities inherent in a weak woman and a strong person," he said.
