In Pavlodar, a woman suffered a head injury after a chunk of ice fell on her. A criminal case has been opened, according to website infohub.kz.
The incident occurred on July 8. The young mother was walking with her baby in a stroller under the windows of building No. 157 on Nazarbayev Avenue when a chunk of ice fell on her. As reported by the Telegram channel kerek.pv, no one has been held responsible so far. Relatives of the victim claim they themselves have to search for the person who caused the woman's head injury.
The Police Department of Pavlodar Region reported that a criminal case has been opened on charges of intentional infliction of minor bodily harm. Law enforcement officers have seized and reviewed CCTV footage, interviewed witnesses, and conducted other investigative actions. The video recording captured the moment the object fell on the victim. Currently, all circumstances of the incident are being established, and measures are being taken to identify the person involved and bring them to justice.
The criminal case is under special supervision by the leadership of the Police Department of Pavlodar Region.
