A new production cluster for processing valuable fish species will be established in the East Kazakhstan region, financed by Polish investor Piotr Basiewicz. The project, to be implemented in the village of Tugyl in the Tarbagatai district, envisions a full cycle from farming to export of finished products, as well as the opening of a specialized college for training personnel... reports the website infohub.kz.
The investment project is carried out by ZAISAN SEE LLP. The enterprise plans to organize a full production cycle: from artificial reproduction and fish farming to deep processing and export. The design capacity of the complex will be four thousand tons of fish products per year. Special attention will be paid to extensive aquaculture, i.e., fish farming in conditions close to natural. The enterprise will focus on valuable species in demand on foreign markets. In particular, the capacity for producing pike perch juveniles will reach 30 tons per year, which will help replenish the region's fish stocks.
The launch of the plant will provide at least 150 new jobs. To address the staffing issue, a college is planned to be opened in the village of Tugyl, which will train specialists in fisheries, aquaculture, and processing. This will allow the enterprise to be staffed with local personnel and reduce unemployment among rural youth.
According to Adata, the founders of ZAISAN SEE LLP are Polish businessman Piotr Basiewicz, Vladimir Yakovlev, and the private company ARVO GROUP LTD, led by Kanat Rymtaev. The main foreign investor, Piotr Basiewicz, is an entrepreneur from the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship of Poland. He earned his initial capital in the food industry. He owns the company "Doryb", founded in 1999, which processes and freezes fish (including Masurian whitefish, vendace, and pike). Later, Basiewicz diversified his assets and opened a construction division under the brand Developer Piotr Basiewicz.
