In northern Kazakhstan, rescuers conducted an operation to save a fisherman who was blown far from the shore of Lake Imantau by strong winds, reports infohub.kz.
The incident occurred in the Aiyrtau district of the North Kazakhstan region. A man born in 1990 went fishing, but due to a sudden deterioration in weather, his boat was carried into open water. He could not return to shore on his own.
Upon receiving the signal, the emergency rescue team of the Ministry of Emergency Situations immediately headed to the scene. The rescuers found the fisherman on the lake, provided him with necessary assistance, and safely brought him to shore. The man did not require medical attention.
The rescued man's wife expressed sincere gratitude to the rescuers for their prompt help and for saving her husband.
