Rescuers of Akmola region have brought to responsibility the RIXOS LAKE BOROVOE hotel and the company that organized a corporate event with fireworks. The amounts of fines became known to Kursiv LifeStyle, reports the website infohub.kz.
Videos appeared on social media showing fireworks being launched from the hotel's territory on Lake Shchuchye. The incident occurred amid the ongoing fire hazard period in the national park, and shortly before that, a fire was recorded in Burabay.
On August 11, the Department for Emergency Situations of Akmola region commented on the situation. The hotel owner and the organization that held the corporate event were brought to responsibility under Part 1 of Article 410 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This article provides for punishment in the form of a warning or a fine.
As specified in the press service of the department, the hotel was fined 324,375 tenge, and the company that organized the event was fined 32,000 tenge.
Earlier it was reported that video surveillance cameras were installed in Burabay on popular tourist routes, including Mount Bolektau, the Valley of Love, and the Imanaevsky stream. This will allow for prompt identification of violators and faster response to incidents involving tourists.
