The enterprise 'ATO Shcherbakty Elevator', owned by Russian citizen Piran Akhmedov, earned a profit of 9.6 million tenge in 2025, reports the website infohub.kz.
This result marks a significant improvement compared to the previous year, when the company incurred a loss of 32.8 million tenge. Notably, the company's revenue for the year decreased by 44% to 63.6 million tenge. However, due to a significant reduction in cost of goods sold — from 113.6 million to 42.6 million tenge — the company managed to turn a profit.
Administrative expenses reached 20 million tenge. In 2024, the bulk of the high cost of goods sold was attributed to inventory, which amounted to 75 million tenge.
Currently, the company holds inventory worth 44.5 million tenge, of which 28.5 million tenge is in goods, including flour and grain. At the same time, the company has significant short-term debt to a supplier — 27 million tenge owed to 'Istok', a company engaged in wholesale grain trade.
Earlier, in 2022, it was reported that the grain storage facility in the Shcherbakty district of Pavlodar region resumed operations after a decade-long hiatus. The elevator processes up to 35 tons of grain daily, producing first-grade flour and bran.
The company is owned by Russian citizen Piran Akhmedov.
