American notary Alena Green has stated that she did not certify the prenuptial agreement between Anna Sedokova and Janis Timma, which the singer cited when selling property, reports infohub.kz.
According to Margarita Gavrilova, lawyer for the basketball player's relatives, Green provided a comprehensive response that she did not certify any prenuptial agreement between Sedokova and Timma and has no connection to the document. The defense considers the agreement a forgery, on the basis of which Sedokova sold at least five apartments. Gavrilova also suggested that the couple may have had other real estate sold during the equity participation stage.
The defense of Timma's family is convinced that the singer concealed the funds obtained from the sales. If they win in court, the lawyers intend to seek a lifelong ban on Sedokova leaving Russia in accordance with the law "On Enforcement Proceedings." Gavrilova emphasized that if Sedokova files for bankruptcy, they will do everything to restructure the debt rather than declare bankruptcy, so that she cannot evade the debt.
Recall that Latvian basketball player Janis Timma was found dead in central Moscow on the night after Anna Sedokova's birthday in 2024. In September of that year, their marriage was dissolved after five years together. The athlete was buried in Riga. After the tragedy, lawyer Margarita Gracheva, representing the interests of the deceased's family, reported that a statement was filed with the police of two countries to bring Sedokova to criminal responsibility.
