World-renowned singer Shakira may give a solo concert in Kyrgyzstan, possibly even before performing in Kazakhstan, according to infohub.kz.

Kanybek Tumanbayev, the head of the Kyrgyz Presidential Administration, said that the Colombian superstar could perform at the Bishkek Arena. Negotiations are currently underway for a concert in Bishkek. The performance is expected to take place in November at the new arena, which seats 51,000 and was built to FIFA standards.

The Kyrgyz Presidential Administration clarified that the parties are still agreeing on terms. The exact date and other details have not yet been determined.

Tumanbayev himself posted an intriguing message on Instagram: "Shakira. Would you like to see her at Bishkek Arena? Are you waiting?" he wrote.

Recall that in November 2025, concert organizers for Jennifer Lopez and the Backstreet Boys in Kazakhstan mentioned the possibility of Beyoncé, Shakira, and Eminem performing in the country. In April of this year, the Almaty city administration commented on reports that global stars—rapper Eminem and singer Shakira—might perform for Kazakhstani audiences this year.

"We emphasize that this information is for reference only and does not confirm the holding of events. At present, the matter is being worked on. Official agreements have not been reached, and dates and venues have not been approved," the administration said.
