Personnel changes have occurred in the Karaganda region: Yermek Alpysov has been relieved of his post as deputy akim, and his position has been taken by Shyngys Suyunbayev, reports infohub.kz.
According to the akimat's press service, Alpysov left the post due to a transfer to another job. The new deputy was appointed in coordination with the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The head of the region, Yermaganbet Bulekpaev, expressed confidence that Suyunbayev's practical knowledge and professional skills will help him fully realize his potential in the new position.
Shyngys Suyunbayev began his career as a specialist of the first category at the Almaty branch of the Kazakhstan Verification Service under the Republican State Enterprise KazInMetr of the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology, and later became the head of the verification laboratory.
Over the years, he held leadership positions in the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and later in the Committee for Consumer Rights Protection of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2022–2023, he worked as Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Industrial Development of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From November 2023 until this appointment, he served as Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
