Singapore's High Court has dismissed a lawsuit by Chander Agarwal, CEO of an Indian logistics company, who sought to recover $370,000 worth of gifts from his former girlfriend, according to infohub.kz.

Agarwal was in a relationship with Felicia Lee from 2022 to 2023. At the time, she worked as a flight attendant and reportedly earned significantly less than her partner. During their romance, he gave her branded items from Hermes, Dior, and Prada, and also bought first-class airline tickets.

In addition to the expensive gifts, the Indian entrepreneur spent thousands of dollars on feng shui services to "harmonize" her apartment. He also covered her personal expenses, insurance, and university tuition.

After the breakup, Agarwal went to court demanding that all these expenditures be recognized as a loan. He estimated the total value of gifts and expenses at $370,000, CNN reports.

However, Singapore's High Court dismissed the claim. The judge noted that Chander and Felicia had extensive messaging exchanges, but they contained no evidence that she had borrowed the items or money.
