The National Bank of Kazakhstan has submitted for public discussion a draft resolution "On introducing amendments and additions to certain resolutions of the Board of the National Bank" concerning the introduction of a single QR code, reports infohub.kz.

The document is published on the "Open NLA" portal. The project provides for the adjustment of regulatory legal acts in accordance with the adopted laws. In particular, the list of documents for opening a current account for an administrator acting under the law "On Rehabilitation and Bankruptcy" is specified, to which funds from the sale of the debtor's property will be credited.

In addition, the changes concern the procedure for protecting alimony from third-party collections. The National Bank explained that this measure is aimed at improving the situation of citizens: accounts of alimony recipients for the maintenance of minor children and disabled persons will be protected not only from collections by banks on overdue debts, but also from collections by court bailiffs.

Also, as part of the development of the Interbank Mobile Payment System, changes are being made aimed at developing new services of the system and increasing the limit on transactions between individuals. According to representatives of the National Bank, this will increase the availability of interbank services for the population.

The project is open for public discussion until September 1.
