An unusual conflict has erupted in the Akmola region between local residents and a stranger who demanded money or a horse. The incident occurred on the outskirts of the village of Kyzylsuat, reports the website infohub.kz.
According to the press service of the Akmola Regional Police Department, a couple was near the village when an unknown man drove up in a car and asked for directions to Lake Maibalyk. The locals pointed him in the right direction, but after some time the man returned, claiming he had been given incorrect directions. A conflict ensued between the men.
During the quarrel, according to the female complainant, the man used profanity and then began threatening the couple with physical violence. He also demanded that they give him money or a horse, accompanying his demands with death threats.
At one point, the man tried to approach the woman. Her husband intervened and pushed him back. The situation ended when a truck appeared. Seeing it, the man got into his car and drove away.
After the locals reported the incident to the police, a pre-trial investigation was launched. During operational measures, law enforcement identified the suspected participant in the conflict. His involvement in the incident is currently being verified.
The police reminded that threats of physical violence are not just a domestic dispute but a serious crime. All circumstances of the incident are being established as part of the pre-trial investigation. Citizens are urged not to engage in dangerous conflicts and to immediately contact law enforcement if threatened, as timely reporting allows for a prompt establishment of the facts and necessary measures.
