On the evening of August 17, an incident occurred in Shymkent in which a teenager sustained a knife wound. The conflict arose near a food truck at the entrance to the city's arboretum, reports infohub.kz.

According to Qumash.kz, photos from the scene appeared on social media. The author of the post claims that the participants in the conflict were minors working at the food truck. The post reads: "We went to the Shymkent arboretum in the evening and saw this scene. Right next to the cashier at the entrance, food truck workers stabbed each other in the leg with a knife. What kind of lawlessness is this, and where are the parents and management looking?"

The Shymkent police department confirmed the incident and announced the start of a pre-trial investigation. The department stated: "A criminal case has been opened on the fact of causing bodily harm. The participants in the incident have been identified. The injured teenager has been taken to the hospital. Currently, all circumstances of the incident are being established, including the causes of the conflict."

Additionally, police are considering the issue of liability for the legal representatives of the minors.

Earlier it was reported that in the North Kazakhstan region, a drunk man with a knife attacked a district inspector during a trip to a medical examination. The policeman received a cut wound but managed to disarm the suspect and stop the car. A criminal case has been opened, and the suspect has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
