In his address to the nation of Kazakhstan, President Qasym-Jomart Toqaev spoke about the situation in the world, infohub.kz reports.

During the address, Qasym-Jomart Toqaev stressed that not all issues related to protecting the country's independence and sovereignty have been fully resolved. "This means that we face many urgent tasks. To carry out this work successfully, first of all, our entire society must be in harmony. It is absolutely clear that without unity and accord there can be neither reform nor progress. Now, when global challenges have become even more dangerous, we must give priority to order and discipline in our society," the president said.

The head of state noted that unfounded false accusations and hidden conflicts between countries have intensified, and a large-scale crisis of mutual trust has emerged among giant, influential states. "The prestige of the United Nations has been badly damaged. The value of international law has declined. As a result, the modern world has entered a dark era, and politicians and experts have no common view of its future. It is no exaggeration to say that the entire world community is living through turbulent times. Such a complex and unpredictable situation did not exist even during the Cold War. Despite such turbulent times, Kazakhstan has entered a new era of its development with great confidence and has carried out large-scale political reforms. This is a rare phenomenon in the world," Qasym-Jomart Toqaev said.

The president believes that Kazakhstan must now continue to strengthen its sovereignty. According to him, this means maintaining internal stability and prosperity in today's unstable world.
