In the Karasai district of the Almaty region, rescuers conducted several search and rescue operations in a single day. The incidents occurred the day before, reports the website infohub.kz.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Telegram channel, one female tourist went to the area of the Big Almaty Peak and later stopped making contact. Rescuers from the Republican Rescue Service "Barys" were dispatched to search for her.

"The rescuers examined the Ayu-Sai and Prokhodnoye gorges, as well as the Terra and Aleshkin Most glades. The tourist was found near a waterfall in the Prokhodnoye gorge. She did not require medical assistance. The rescuers escorted her down and handed her over to the Department of Emergency Situations of Almaty," the ministry reported.

While returning from the search route, a report came in about another female tourist who had injured her leg in the area of the Cosmostation. The rescuers were redirected to the scene. They provided first aid and escorted her down, where they handed her over to the Disaster Medicine Center team.

Also, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, two young men sought help from rescuers while at Satpayev Peak, at an altitude of 3,300 meters. One of them experienced severe dizziness and nausea, and could not move on his own.

"Rescuers from the Monitoring and Operational Response Center of Almaty lowered the young men to an ecological post, where they were handed over to the Disaster Medicine Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for necessary medical assistance," the ministry added.

Rescuers remind that before hiking in the mountains, plan your route in advance, calculate your return time before dark, monitor the weather forecast, and be sure to inform your loved ones of your plans.
