The American minister took to social media platform X to share his account of the incident and thank the pilots for their professionalism. "The US Coast Guard pilots landed the plane with one engine as if it were routine. No panic – just sheer professionalism. After landing, the pilots told me it was their first time doing this! We couldn't have been in safer hands," Mullin wrote.
Local news outlet The DMV reported that the aircraft touched down at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. "The C101 aircraft experienced a right engine failure during flight, after which the crew diverted to Reagan National Airport for an immediate landing," the outlet said. All 14 people on board landed safely.
