Warner Bros. has officially confirmed that a sequel to the popular game Hogwarts Legacy is in development. This was announced in a report to shareholders of Warner Bros. Discovery, as reported by infohub.kz.
According to the report, the second installment is considered one of the key projects for WB Games in the coming years, with high profitability expected.
Development of the sequel is already underway. Hints of a continuation first emerged in autumn 2024, and in the Q2 2026 report, the company directly mentioned "the second part of Hogwarts Legacy." An exact release date has not yet been announced, but according to management and analysts, a full release or first major showcase is expected in 2027-2028.
Recall that the first installment, released in 2023, became a real hit: the game sold over 40 million copies worldwide and won the hearts of both Harry Potter fans and casual players.
