A wild hoofed animal smashed through a window and got inside a residential building in Appleton, then raced through the rooms and jumped outside through another window, infohub.kz reports.

The incident occurred in one of the city's residential complexes. The deer broke a window and entered a first-floor apartment. Fortunately, no residents were home at the time, so no one was injured.

Finding itself trapped, the animal panicked and began dashing around the rooms in search of an exit. Local police were called to the scene. Witnesses and arriving officers caught the moment when the animal found its own way out: it gathered speed and leaped outside through a second window, shattering another glass unit.

After the dangerous jump, the deer quickly disappeared into a nearby forest. Judging by its appearance, the animal did not suffer serious injuries. The property management company has already begun replacing the broken glass and cleaning up the premises.

Experts reminded local residents that autumn is a season of increased activity for wild hoofed animals, so they more often wander into residential areas.
