In a peculiar turn of events, Kirill Dmitriev, the Special Representative of the Russian President for Investment and Economic Cooperation, has issued a public appeal not to humans, but to potential extraterrestrial visitors. He has requested their assistance in convincing the current UK Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, to step down from his position.

An Unusual Request on Social Media

Dmitriev shared his unconventional message on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter). He addressed the hypothetical visitors, stating, "Dear extraterrestrials, as you prepare to make contact with humanity, demonstrate your power and benevolence by convincing Keir Starmer to resign."

A Plea for Peaceful Influence

The Russian envoy further elaborated on his request, emphasizing a non-coercive approach. "No abductions or probing – just explain to him how people feel and how he can bring hope to Western civilization by resigning," Dmitriev wrote. This suggests a desire for Starmer's departure to be perceived as a voluntary act influenced by public sentiment.

A Nod to Past Statements and Pop Culture

This is not the first time Dmitriev has made a lighthearted comment regarding Starmer's potential resignation. Previously, he humorously remarked that waiting for Starmer's resignation had "united" both humans and extraterrestrials.
