13-Year-Old Boy Missing in Karaganda Region; Desperate Plea for Help

A frantic search is underway in the Karaganda region for 13-year-old Beibarys Rys, who disappeared on April 1st. The boy's last message to his mother expressed extreme distress, stating, "Mom, help me, I don't want to die."

Beibarys was last seen with friends in the city of Abai, heading towards the village of Karabass. As evening approached, he decided to return home alone. During his journey, he sent a series of alarming messages to his mother via phone, pleading for help. He mentioned his phone battery was running low and that he was freezing. His final message conveyed his fear of dying and expressed his love for his mother.

Concerns Over Health and Attire

According to relatives, Beibarys was lightly dressed and suffers from asthma, raising significant concerns about his well-being, especially given the cold conditions. He is described as being approximately 150-155 cm tall with an average build. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a pinkish-orange t-shirt, black trousers, and green shoes.

Extensive Search Operation Underway

A report of the boy's disappearance was filed with the Abai District Police Department on April 2nd. Immediately following the report, police officers and emergency services personnel were mobilized. The ongoing search operation involves approximately 300 individuals, including rescuers, volunteers, and National Guard soldiers. To cover the vast search area, a helicopter and drones are also being utilized. The search efforts are continuing under close supervision.
