A perplexing disappearance has gripped the city of Ekibastuz, where 25-year-old Adilet Kendir vanished under unusual circumstances. Police, family members, and volunteers have been tirelessly searching for him for two days.
Adilet reportedly left his home at approximately 9:00 PM on February 23rd, driving a red Hyundai MUFASA, to work as a taxi driver. Since then, his whereabouts have been unknown.
Vehicle Found, Search Continues
His car was later discovered in the courtyard of a residential building in Ekibastuz. It was at this location that volunteers initiated their search efforts. A video circulating online captured a search team member using a loudspeaker to call out, "Adilet, come out, wake up!" This plea has sparked considerable discussion online, with some deeming it inappropriate while others praised the woman's concern and her attempt to draw attention to the search.
Authorities and volunteers are currently reviewing surveillance footage to retrace Adilet's movements and determine his last known path.
Missed Work, Uncharacteristic Behavior
According to the Pavlodar Regional Police Department, the young man is being sought as a missing person. His relatives state that Adilet typically works as a railway car inspector. He was scheduled to begin his shift on the night of February 24th but failed to appear for work.
"My brother never misses work and never disappears without notice. He was always in touch. His car was parked in a stranger's yard, out of camera view," shared his younger sister. She added that she last spoke with her brother by phone at 10:00 PM on February 23rd.
