Residents of the Samal-1 microdistrict in Aktau are voicing concerns over a newly erected fence behind the popular Aidyn restaurant. The sudden appearance of the enclosure has fueled suspicions among locals, who are demanding an investigation into the legality of any potential construction work.

Residents Raise Alarm Over Fencing

According to local inhabitants, the area, now cordoned off with corrugated metal sheets, appeared without prior notice. This has led to widespread speculation and questions among the city's populace, with many wondering if this is another instance of unauthorized construction. "Has our city run out of space? Are they planning to quietly fence everything off and start building?" expressed some concerned residents.

Authorities Investigate Potential Violations

The community is calling for clarity on the legitimacy of these actions and what exactly is being built on the disputed territory. In response to the public's queries, the city administration stated that there is no pre-project documentation for the site in question. Consequently, the relevant department will issue a notice requiring the removal of the violations related to the fence installation.

The Akimat (city administration) further emphasized that if any facts of illegal construction are confirmed, the case materials will be forwarded to the Mangystau Regional State Architectural-Construction Control Department for appropriate action.
