A man who brutally tortured and caused the death of his own father has had his prison sentence significantly increased following an appeal. Almas Sadaqbaev, originally sentenced to five years, will now serve seven years for his horrific crimes.

The 41-year-old man's sentence was extended by two years, bringing the total to seven years imprisonment. The case gained widespread attention in September after a disturbing video circulated online. The footage showed the elderly father, aged 70, being subjected to brutal abuse by his son. Tragically, the father passed away shortly after the video became public. The son was apprehended at the time of the incident.
