Renowned Kazakh journalist Vadim Boreiko has revealed that all of his bank accounts have been frozen. The announcement was made by Boreiko on his personal Facebook page, leaving many to wonder about the circumstances.

Boreiko stated that the reason for the freezing of his accounts remains unclear to him at this time. "All my accounts have been seized. I don't know why yet," he wrote on the social media platform.

An Unexpected Discovery

The journalist discovered the situation incidentally while checking his banking applications on his phone. He emphasized that he has no outstanding debts or financial obligations that would typically lead to such a measure.

Past Incidents

This is not the first unusual event Boreiko has experienced. In February, his social media accounts were compromised, and unfamiliar messages were posted in his name, causing concern among his followers.

Vadim Boreiko is a well-known figure in Kazakh media, having previously served as the editor-in-chief for prominent outlets such as KTK television channel, the "Vremya" newspaper, and Forbes.kz. He currently hosts the popular YouTube channel "Hyperborea."
