The academic year in Kazakhstan is drawing to a close, with just two weeks remaining until the final bell rings. For students in the 9th and 11th grades, this period signifies not only the start of summer break but also the crucial final examinations that will shape their academic futures.

Exam Schedule for 9th and 11th Graders

The fourth quarter for all students will conclude on May 25th, after which they will embark on their summer holidays. The Ministry of Education has officially confirmed the dates for the final attestation exams.

Exams for Other Grades

Students in grades 5-8 and grade 10 will have a final exam in the Kazakh language at the end of May. Additionally, earlier in April, students in grades 5-7 began an elective course on the Fundamentals of the Constitution, while those in grades 8-9 started a course on Law and Order. The Ministry of Education has also indicated that the school curriculum is being updated to focus on developing IT skills. Concerns about extending the academic year or increasing the workload have been addressed, with no such changes planned.

This structured approach to final assessments ensures a clear path for students as they conclude their current academic year and prepare for the next stages of their education.
