Kazakhstan's eGov Portal Faces Disruption, Users Locked Out
Kazakhstan's essential e-government portal, eGov.kz, experienced widespread disruptions on Tuesday, March 5th, leaving many citizens unable to access their personal accounts. Users attempting to log in were met with a message indicating "Scheduled technical work is underway."
Access Issues Plague Users
Numerous Kazakhstani citizens expressed frustration online as they found themselves locked out of their digital government services. While the portal itself remained accessible, the crucial personal cabinet function was unavailable. Some users also reported difficulties accessing services through the eGov mobile application.

As of the time of reporting, the National Information Technologies company, responsible for the portal's operation, has not yet provided an official explanation for the outage. However, reports indicate that the portal began to function normally again shortly after the initial disruptions.
