Prominent bloggers Erbolat Zhanabylov and Elmira Tolegenova have accepted the court's verdict and will not be filing an appeal. This decision was confirmed by their lawyer, Gauhar Aytzhanova.

Acceptance of the Verdict

The legal team representing the popular blogging couple has stated that they will not pursue further legal action against the recent court ruling. Their lawyer, Gauhar Aytzhanova, announced that the couple has agreed to the terms set by the court.

Understanding the Sentence

Aytzhanova explained the specifics of the sentence, noting that Elmira Tolegenova received a two-year suspended sentence. "The main thing is that they are free. Elmira has been given a deferred sentence for two years. If there are no violations on her part, the court may release her from further punishment, taking into account amnesty and compensation for damages," the lawyer stated.

The court imposed different sentences on the couple. Erbolat Zhanabylov received a conditional sentence, while Elmira Tolegenova was given a two-year suspended prison sentence. Aytzhanova clarified that these terms were agreed upon with the prosecutor as part of a procedural agreement.

"We discussed the terms of the procedural agreement these past few days, starting from Friday. These are the proposed terms," she explained. The lawyer also suggested that the court's decision might be influenced by Tolegenova's status as the owner of an LLP.
