A shocking incident has deeply unsettled the community in Almaty، where a top student from Specialized Lyceum No. 126 has tragically died. The circumstances leading to this bright young individual's death remain unclear، leaving many searching for answers.
A Promising Future Cut Short
The tragic event occurred in the early hours of May 23rd، around 3-4 AM، in the Auezov district. Friends and teachers of the deceased student are struggling to come to terms with the news، as the student was known for academic excellence and had ambitious plans for the future.
According to the school principal، Aizhan Abuyeva، the student was exceptionally gifted academically. The student had received offers to study at prestigious institutions in both the United States and China. This information only came to light during the funeral، surprising many at the school. It has also been revealed that the student was in a relationship with a classmate.
High Scores and Future Aspirations
The graduating student had also achieved high scores on the National Unified Testing (NUBT). They scored 119 points on the NUBT in January and achieved 134 points on a subsequent practice test. The main examination was scheduled for May. The student was also an active participant in mathematics Olympiads.
Close acquaintances of the student stated that there were no noticeable signs of distress in their behavior. Just one day before the tragic event، on May 22nd، the student participated in preparations for the last school bell's waltz، appearing to be in high spirits. They had mentioned planning to ask their teacher to dance during the ceremony.
Family Background and Ongoing Investigation
The deceased was the third child in their family. Currently، investigators are exploring the possibility of family difficulties as a contributing factor. However، outwardly، the family appeared harmonious. The class teacher noted that the parents consistently attended school meetings and never indicated any problems or conflicts at home.
