Residents of Almaty have noticed that the asphalt on Bolshaya Almatinka Street is being replaced for the third time. The city administration has explained the reasons for the repeated repairs, reports the website infohub.kz.
According to city officials, each repair phase was necessary to fix defects that emerged after previous work. In particular, contractors identified problems with the road foundation and asphalt quality.
The city administration assured that the current repair is final and will be carried out using modern technologies. The completion date has not been disclosed.
