Almaty plans to launch the unified automated system SANA this year, which will bring the payroll fund and the educational process under full digital control. This was announced by the head of the Almaty Education Department, Saken Aralbaev, at a briefing at the Regional Communications Service, reports NUR.KZ.

The new system will automatically calculate salaries, allowances, hours, and teaching loads in strict accordance with regulations. This will eliminate the human factor in payment calculations. As Aralbaev explained, schools' and kindergartens' working curricula will be matched against allocated funding, and each position must be officially confirmed. Electronic time sheets will be verified against the actual presence of staff and children at facilities via QR codes or biometric control.

The system will directly exchange data with accounting databases, recording each teacher's qualification profile. This will automatically identify double salaries, inflated hours, or 'ghost' employees before money is paid out. 'We are striving for full transparency: funds from the city budget must be spent exclusively on the real educational process and real teachers,' emphasized the head of the Education Department.
