Agricultural fairs featuring farmers and producers from across Kazakhstan will begin in the capital on September 19. The products will be sold on weekends through the end of October, according to infohub.kz.

The fairs will take place in the parking lot of the Qazanat Hippodrome, located at 1 Karkaraly Highway. They will be open to visitors from 9:00 to 18:00.

The schedule by region is as follows:

September 19–20 — Kyzylorda and Atyrau regions;

September 26–27 — Abai, Almaty, and Mangystau regions;

October 3–4 — East Kazakhstan and Aktobe regions;

October 10–11 — Turkistan and West Kazakhstan regions;

October 17–18 — North Kazakhstan, Pavlodar, and Ulytau regions;

October 24–25 — Karaganda and Kostanay regions.

At the fairs, residents and visitors of the capital will be able to purchase meat, fish, dairy products, groceries, vegetables, fruits, and other domestic goods.

For the convenience of visitors, bus service to the fairgrounds will be organized. In particular, routes No. 18, 37, and 303 will operate.

According to the akimat, last year the regional agricultural fair brought together more than 600 producers from 17 regions. Over its duration, more than 10,000 tons of products were sold.

Earlier, Kursiv reported that on September 12 and 13, Astana residents will be able to buy meat, vegetables, fruits, dairy and flour products at agricultural fairs.
